How to Get Free Cable TV Legally? 8 Ways to Enjoy Your Favorite Show Without Paying

2. Go to Network Websites

Network website

Many major networks and several cable channels make online shows available 24 hours after the show airs. You usually have to visit the chosen network’s site to see if they will let you watch online programs.

It’s possible on CBS, and NBC shows. Even if the platform does not transmit current material, content from previous seasons may be provided.

There are A&E, Comedy Central, Freeform, HGTV, and Nickelodeon networks.  You might not get all the channels you want, but you could get more than you expect.

The major networks, as well as the several cable channels, make episodes of the show available to stream the next day of the year. This is particularly true of large local networks such as ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, and PBS.

You can also visit your favorite cable channels ‘ websites to see if they are streaming the latest episodes online. Even if the most recent episodes don’t air, you can normally watch past seasons as well.

There are different selections for each cable network, but some of the better channels are A&E, Freeform (formerly ABC Family), Comedy Central,  HGTV, and MTV.

3. Watch Movies on YouTube

You can also find old movies for free on YouTube. Unless the content is a public domain, the quality of the image or audio is not always the best way to comply with copyright legislation.

Or, you might need to rent a $2 video to watch it in HD, but it’s still relatively cheaper than keeping your cable subscription for that one channel.

Many cable channels also offer free live simulcasts on YouTube or post the video the next day; this applies in particular to cable news channels. Sign up to your favorite channels, never to miss the latest programming.
